Public consultations to be held to involve Singaporeans in shaping Healthier SG strategy

Singaporeans have been asked to give their ideas on shaping Healthier SG. The country’s new healthcare strategy aims to improve health across the population, with residents enrolling with a family physician as their first line of care throughout their lifetime. The public consultation will run from May to August, ahead of the scheme’s rollout in 2023. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said his ministry has begun engaging general practitioners for feedback on what support may be needed for them to upkeep and improve operations.
