NTU unveils 15-year sustainability manifesto, aims to halve carbon emissions by 2035

Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University has unveiled a 15-year sustainability plan. It aims to halve carbon emissions by 2035. It has also set up a $1-billion medium-term note programme to support its green drive. This will allow the university to issue sustainability-linked bonds when needed, tapping on investors’ demand for green assets. Credit rating agency Moody’s has given NTU its highest Triple-A rating, and a "stable" rating outlook.
