Human resource solutions company Randstad surveyed close to 3,000 respondents and found that Gen X and Y workers valued good work-life balance and non-monetary benefits like flexible work arrangements. Career development and progression opportunities were top on the charts for Gen X and Y, but Gen Z employees said a pleasant work environment is more important to them than career progression. Jaya Dass, managing director at Randstad Singapore and Malaysia, shared more about the factors that have changed over the years.
