Foreigners entering Malaysia will now have to pay the full fees for a mandatory COVID-19 quarantine. They will no longer receive subsidies from the Malaysian government. Previously, both Malaysians and non-Malaysians had to pay RM2,100 ($503) for accommodation and food for a two-week quarantine period. Officials said foreign nationals need to pay more for operational costs.
