A High Court judge will give his verdict at a later date on whether to allow new claims by the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council against the Workers’ Party leaders. This follows a hearing in chambers on Aug 3. In his earlier judgment in October, based on the original statement of claim, Justice Kannan Ramesh had found the defendants liable for breaching different types of duties.
